Posters Retell the Reformation Story

Posters Retell the Reformation Story

October 31 is Reformation Day, and the Meeter Center celebrated by hosting an exhibit of posters retelling the story of the Protestant Reformation. The posters were on display in the library lobby from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday, Oct. 31. The Meeter Center offered Reformation-themed cookies baked by their own staff.

Later that day, Dr. Susan Felch, Professor of English at Calvin University, gave a lecture highlighting the role of women in the Reformation. The lecture was titled "Anne Lock: The Remarkable Ordinary Life of an English Reformer,” and it drew some of its content from a book edited by Dr. Felch: Anne Vaughan Lock: Selected Poetry, Prose, and Translations, with Contextual Materials, 1999.
