1850--English--Macbeth at Princess's Theatre, London--from 1850-1859, Charles Kean, son of Edmund, managed this theatre and made is a fashionable resort which even Queen Victoria frequented. Kean initiated a shift from after pieces to curtain raisers to accommodate late arrivals, and he also did away with incidental entertainments.
