1757-1823--English--John Philip Kemble as: Left: Hamlet and Right: Macbeth. The brother of Mrs. Siddons, he co-established the "classical" style, but was accused of self-consciousness and often appeared cold. Even so, he was considered the greatest English actor from 1790 on.
